What Type of HTTP Servers are There?
The type of http server used to support public network communication processes is normally called the platform server. For Microsoft Windows Internet computer nodes, the Internet Information Server serves as the expected platform standard to provide the right conditions needed for communication exchange processes to happen using text messaging. For UNIX and Linux computer networking nodes, the Apache Server is the expected platform standard to control the http communication processes. If JAVA support resources are going to be provided by the http server to the http protocol type communication process, the http server normally now has to become the Tomcat Server. There are also many other different, but very similar in functional support http servers to get to know better such as Netscape and IBM, who have built their own versions to help the public have a good variety of http server platforms to choose from for all their needs.
